Players looking to add a little extra charm to their housing collection have a new reason to tune into Twitch. A fresh Twitch Drop is now live for World of Warcraft, giving viewers the chance to earn the Cuddly Green Grrgle housing décor item simply by watching eligible streams.
How Long Is the Drop Available?
The Twitch Drop runs for nearly a full month, giving players plenty of time to participate:
- Start: January 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. PST
- End: February 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. PST
During this window, watching content in the World of Warcraft category on Twitch will count toward earning the reward.
How to Earn the Cuddly Green Grrgle
Earning the drop is straightforward:
- Watch 4 total hours of eligible World of Warcraft streams on Twitch
- You can split your time across multiple channels
- Watching more than one stream at the same time will not speed up progress
Once the required watch time is complete, you’ll need to manually claim the reward through the Twitch Drops Inventory or directly from the channel you’re watching.
Account Linking Requirements
To receive the item in-game, your accounts must be linked:
- Visit the Battle.net Connections page and link your Twitch account
- If you’ve changed your password or account details recently, you may need to relink
- Relinking starts a 7-day cooldown before another Twitch account can be connected
After claiming the drop, make sure you log into the correct Battle.net region. The first region you log into will be where the item is delivered. Delivery can take up to 24 hours.
Buying More Copies Later
If one Cuddly Green Grrgle isn’t enough, there’s good news. Players who claim the Twitch Drop will later be able to purchase additional copies in-game:
- Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City after Midnight launches on March 2
- Tuuran in Stormwind and Gabbi in Orgrimmar (near the Trading Post) with the Midnight Pre-Expansion Content Update
Supported Devices
You can earn and claim the drop using:
- PC or Mac web browsers
- The Twitch mobile app on Android or iOS
Twitch apps on consoles, smart TVs, and other TV-based apps do not support Drops.
Eligible Regions
This Twitch Drop is available in a wide range of regions, including:
- North America and Latin America
- Europe, The Middle East, and Africa
- Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia
- Australia and New Zealand
Streamer Information
Streamers don’t need special approval to participate. As long as their Twitch and Battle.net accounts are linked and Drops are enabled, their World of Warcraft streams will automatically qualify.
Final Notes
As with all promotional events, Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right to change, pause, or cancel the Twitch Drop if technical issues or other unexpected circumstances arise.
If you’ve been meaning to catch up on WoW streams, this is a relaxed way to do it—four hours of viewing in exchange for a cozy new housing decoration is a pretty fair deal.
