The future of gaming is a very tricky subject.

We all have an idea of what we see or desire for the future of gaming.

You have 4k Gaming. VR Gaming is also now becoming a thing.

When I look back, it appears that some of our shows have predicted our technologies. (See tablets in star trek!)

VR Gaming

It looks to me as though VR Gaming will slowly and quickly gain popularity as time grows on. Though a bit pricey now, it is still offered by PlayStation and other consoles.

4K Gaming

4K Gaming will become more popular. This will also eventually get cheaper as the technology becomes ‘older.’

SSD Requirements:

Games, such as World of Warcraft are already starting to recommend upgrading to an SSD. I see this eventually becoming a requirement, but something will need to be done about the price to keep PC Gaming affordable.

The Future of Gaming?

Overall, what do I see? I see the future of gaming expanding. We will have better technology and higher requirements. Eventually, this will lower the price of gaming all in all.
