Gameplay Overview
Set in a secret insect society hidden beneath the human city, Buddy Bug transforms discarded everyday objects into ingenious survival tools. Bottle caps, thumbtacks, and lighters become weapons and gadgets, redesigned through pure bug ingenuity.
Play solo or locally with a friend (online co-op is in development) as you dive into a world of physics-based elemental combat and roguelite buildcrafting where no two runs feel the same.
Demo Features
The public demo will include a handcrafted stage inspired by two of the full game’s biomes and introduce several new systems and gameplay elements:
- Four distinct weapons and 10+ gadgets with elemental interactions
- New enemy types and tuned difficulty for accessible yet deep combat
- Specialization System debuts, allowing players to experiment with multiple creative builds
