McDonald’s’ has a great reputation for being a good family restaurant. Most McDonald’s’ have already shut down their play place because of the cost of keeping them up and running and cleaning them at the end of the day. My family lives in Pewaukee, WI and I am just getting used to the area. We drove up to a McDonald’s on our way to Pet smart to stop and eat dinner.

As my husband proceeds to park the car I noticed the parking lot is very small but yet, we have no problem finding a parking spot. A lot of people were going through drive thru which we normally do but this day we decided to eat inside. As we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was very clean. Not really packed though. It looked as though most of the cars out in the parking lot belonged to the workers.

I feel the tugging on my pants leg ‘Mommy, mommy. I need to go potty” come the words from the 12 year old, we had just left the house 5 minutes ago. Couldn’t she have gone then? Instead of arguing with her I take her to the bathroom.  The bathroom was a pretty purplish color on the walls. The bathroom was clean and smelled really nice. It was very sanitary and clean. What a restaurant bathroom should be like.

When we leave the bathroom, we go to the front counter to order our food. The lady at the counter was very courteous, swift, knew what she was doing and answered a question we had about the product. We ordered our food and our drinks and proceeded to the side so she could take the other customers orders. We did not need to wait very long for our food, 5 minutes at maximum.

After we got our food we proceeded to our table and to get our drinks. Someone was refilling the straws at the help yourself drink station. They were really stocked up so I didn’t have to wait for a stock or go to the counter for anything. It was smooth selling from the time we pulled up to the restaurant.

Finding a clean spot to eat was equally as easy. We ate our food while talking about our day. The burgers were hot, but the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting there for some time. The burgers were made fresh to order. I ended up not eating my fries; I only eat them when they are fresh dripping with grease. I would recommend anyone interested in hot fries need to request hot fries when you order them, or you will end up with cold fries more than likely unless you show up at the right time.

We finished our food quickly and were soon ready to leave. My child was happy and had a full belly with happy parents and a full belly as well. Trash cans were easy to locate to deposit our trash into. Leaving was equally as easy, as we left we heard the worker call behind us “have a nice day” ending our pleasant visit at this particular McDonald’s .

Overall, I would suggest this McDonald’s to anyone. If you have a child or are a daycare provider then I would say that you should go ahead and check out this McDonald’s. The kids will love it.
