The business would be managed on a day to day basis by the store manager as well as the other general managers. We would have a night time manager, shift manager, hiring manager, etc. This way, one particular manager would not be handling specific things. Including having one manager on call at all hours, so this way if something goes wrong then and the other manager needs help, or has to leave then the on call manager would come in to take over. Of course the on call manager depending on their regular shift would be given time off to rest up.

We would offer manager courses for the managers I would hire. I would waive the courses if the manager had a business and management degree depending on the type of manager they were going for, for example, if they were going to be my financial manager they would need to specialize in Accounting. They would also have had 1 years manager experience at the same place of business consecutively in order to be waived the manager courses. I might also make them go if they had not been in a leadership position for over 6 months, because things change in the job market all the time.

We would constantly be in competition with other companies who have the same purpose. In this case, we would be respectful in our competition. It would be a rule that my manager is not allowed to talk bad or accept bad talk about the other companies. You never know when you might need them.  If the manager can no longer with the company then I would promote someone or hire someone else to take over, in the meantime I would take over their position until we found a permanent replacement.

The board of director’s job will be to jointly oversee the activities of the company.  The management advisory board will be there to help me run my business better.

The motto of the company is “where we fulfill your gaming needs” this includes gaming systems. Though the gaming is computer games and console games. It does not and would not mean the type of gaming like playing basketball. We will send out products out to stores similar to Wal-Mart and game stop, As far as production techniques and costs go we would be on a budget to ensure that the prices are not as costly.

We will stay green in the office, for instance, using recyclable paper, making sure we keep the ac/heat to a minimum. The greener we stay the more money we save so this way we can do other things with the money, like have a bigger budget. The bigger our budget is, the more we will be able to create more video games and products. The more products we can create, the more money we will end up making in the long run.

We will sell the product online as well as in stores. The distribution of the product out to companies and customers would ensure that my product(s) got out there for the general public.

            Marketing Plan

The world is becoming so full of video games that it would be very easy to market video games and other gaming systems. We would use posters, business cards, Cd/Dvd covers and sleeves, Booklets, postcards, calendars, and websites to help market my video games. This seems to be the choice way of marketing for other video game companies.

Our goal would be to sell the video games and products, hoping that we could make approximately 100,000 a year but that would be a long term goal. Some companies such as Blizzard Entertainment pull in more than that a year, but just starting out. The goal needs to be a bit smaller, so let’s say 50,000 a year should be enough at least for the first year.

We will be distributing the games and systems to other gaming stores such as Game Stop, Game crazy, and websites such as www.amazon.com among other sites. The product will be available in a number of different locations including offering free trials of games and demo’s to those inside.
