I might not work for an organization per SE, but I am in many guilds in world of Warcraft in which case that is sort of like an organization and therefore, I will use those examples. The whole belonging needs definitely go hand in hand. We hold monthly meetings so it keeps the communication sessions open and whatnot, and will even hold other smaller meetings over time as well. We are given outlets for participating, if someone likes to raid then the leaders use the raids as motivation to keep the raiders belonging, if someone ;likes to level then that is what is used as motivation, there are many different things that are used to give us motivation. We use guild websites as well for communication outlets where we can update rules and information.
