Classic Troll Line: Girls aren’t on the internet.

I realize this is a troll line, but it also brings to light the fact that as a female I run into so many people who actually assume I’m a guy.

Even after they see my picture or me streaming or a video of mine. I had one guy comment for me to kill myself.

You think girls aren’t on the internet? We are very much here, and yes I am one of them.

People Gender Assuming

I honestly do not care if you want to think I am a guy before you find out. What bothers me is when you find out I’m a girl and you call me a liar over it.

It’s The Internet

I feel like the line of “It’s the internet” is nothing more then an excuse to bully others. Basically to say “Oh, it’;s the internet so I can say or do what I want.” You need to be careful, because your comments could be very hurtful to someone on the other end of that computer.

What if us women went around saying there were no boys on the internet? You likely wouldn’t like it anymore then we like hearing you tell us we don’t exist.

Cyber Bullying is NEVER Okay

I know this is a bit off topic, but regardless of whether it is telling a female she does not exist or that you think she should kill herself, bullying is still that. If my children ever bullied someone, they’d be lucky to be allowed friends after that.

The Internet is for Everyone

There is something on the internet for everyone. It does not matter your age or your  gender, there is something for you here.
