Blizzard Entertainment has officially launched Mists of Pandaria Classic, bringing players back to the mist-shrouded continent of Pandaria. Originally released in 2012 and now reimagined for the Classic experience, this expansion invites adventurers to uncover a mysterious land hidden since the Sundering over ten centuries ago. With its release on July 22, 2025, players can now journey across Pandaria’s lush landscapes, confront ancient dangers, and join the ranks of a new, neutral race—the Pandaren.

A New Chapter in the Horde vs. Alliance Conflict

In Mists of Pandaria Classic, the long-standing war between Horde and Alliance spills onto the unspoiled shores of Pandaria. As the fog lifts, both factions rush to secure allies and resources in a land untouched by centuries of conflict. However, the continent hides secrets as old as Azeroth itself, and those secrets threaten to awaken something much darker.

The Pandaren and the Way of the Monk

For the first time in World of Warcraft history, players can begin their journey as a Pandaren. Moreover, this neutral race eventually chooses its allegiance to either the Horde or the Alliance after completing a unique starting experience. In addition, this adventure takes place on the Wandering Isle, a massive sea turtle that serves as their introduction to the world.

Pandaren also introduce the new Monk class, offering three specializations:

To begin with, the Brewmaster is a stalwart tank who absorbs damage with unshakable resolve. Furthermore, the Windwalker is a fast-paced melee fighter who delivers devastating strikes. Finally, the Mistweaver is a master healer who channels restorative energy into allies.
