I hope this message finds you well. Today, I will update you on the Warcraft Addicts page and its future. As many of you know, this community has been a haven for fans of World of Warcraft, where we’ve shared our passion for the game, exchanged strategies, and built friendships over the years. Unfortunately, I must announce that Warcraft Addicts will be shutting down.

A Bittersweet Transition

Jen, the current owner of Warcraft Addicts, has decided to step away from the page as she no longer plays WoW. This decision comes with mixed emotions, as I have enjoyed working alongside her and building this community. Jen has been a dedicated leader, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for her efforts in creating and nurturing this space. While this chapter is ending, I want to assure you that our friendship remains intact, and we will continue to support one another as we navigate our individual journeys.

The Attempted Transition

To keep Warcraft Addicts alive, Jen explored the possibility of transferring the website to me. Unfortunately, it seems that there isn’t a straightforward way to do this. While the technicalities may have presented challenges, Jen is determined to ensure that the hard work put into this site doesn’t go to waste. She is currently working on exporting my articles, allowing me to take them with me as I move forward.

Moving Forward: A New Beginning

Although Warcraft Addicts will be shutting down, I have exciting news about my personal blog (this one here actually). Previously, I had been in the process of clearing things off my blog to eventually shut it down and was planning to move articles to Warcraft Addicts and Patreon. However, I have decided that my blog will not close after all. Instead, I will be rebranding it under a new name and repurposing it as a platform for my continued work in the gaming community.

This change will allow me to carry forward the content and community spirit of Warcraft Addicts, but it will also give me the opportunity to explore new themes and topics. I’m excited about the potential for growth and expansion in the future, and I look forward to sharing more than just Warcraft content.

What’s Next?

So, what can you expect from the new blog? While I will continue to cover topics related to World of Warcraft, I plan to branch out into other gaming-related content. This might include game reviews, tips for various titles, and discussions about the gaming community as a whole. My goal is to create a space that resonates with fellow gamers and allows us to continue our conversations, share our experiences, and celebrate our love for gaming.

As I transition to this new platform, I will keep you updated on the progress. I’m currently working on getting my articles and drafts, so I can ensure that the content you’ve enjoyed will be accessible. I’ve taken screenshots of my ongoing projects, so if any drafts don’t come through, I’ll be able to rewrite them and keep the spirit of Warcraft Addicts alive in my new endeavors.
