Reasons why I chose Joan of Arc
- Never denied her religion
- Led an army in battle
- Died doing what she knew was right
- Back in the 15th century, women in battle were unheard of
- Joan of arc was a very strong and powerful woman of France
- She is good role model and leader because she has done what she knew was right
How is Joan of Arc a good role model to teach leadership and individual accountability?
- She never gave up
- She allowed her religion and her beliefs to lead her.
- She had a quote that I will be utilizing for my paper as well. “One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying.”
- Joan of Arc was threatened with rape and torture but not once did she ever deny her visions.
- She never denied who she was and lived by her quote to the word…This is what makes it her a great role model to teach leadership and individual accountability
